Q: What services are not covered by MSP?
All forms including but not limited to (insurance, Completion of the Occupational Fitness Assessment (OFA) , Medical advice letter.
Different Examinations such as; General insurance examination, industrial examinations,driver's license exam, professional employment exam, Completion of Drug Benefit Form for third party insurer, Initial screening examination for chronic or rehabilitation care, Physical fitness examination for school, summer camp, etc., Transfer of patient records, Travel advice consult, sharing records (asking for copy of your records), cosmetic procedures , complete physical exam or check up for preventive health.

Q: Can you share my medical records with me?
We are very dedicated in reducing our carbon footprint by avoiding paper copying. Therefore, if you require a copy of your records, you can talk to our staff and for a fee of $10 per record they can share it with you in a password protected email. Reports are shared after it has been reviewed with one of our doctors in an in-person visit.
LifeLab reports: patients can set up their own access here, we will not be able to share these reports.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
We see patients in the office Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm. Phones are answered between 9:30am to 4:30pm. Clinic is closed at lunch time between 13-14 and phones are not answered.
Q:What should you do if I miss my virtual or in person appointment?
We do understand that an emergency happens. However, we do expect your cooperation as well. If you cannot come to your appointment for any reason, we do expect you to notify us less than 24 hours. Please note any two missed appointments or cancelation with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to no show fee of $65.00.
Q:How many complaints can I discuss with my doctor in each appointment?
For continuity of your care any new medical matter is best to be considered meticulously . Please prioritizeyour concerns in the order of importance, and limit them to 1 or 2 concerns. We are managing a very busy office and we would like to stay on time for all patients.
Q: Do you have a membership?
all of our patients do not need to pay any membership while the requested service is under the medical and health care services act. However, if you are interested in getting the premium annual package for uninsured services to avoid frequent transactions, you speak with one of our staffs or send us an email for more information. here
Q: What happens when I need blood work?
your request will be faxed to Lifelab by your doctor. Allows >2 business days for Lifelab to process your request. Staff will also email your requisition form to you as well.

Q: What happens if I need imaging?
if it is done in the community clinic such as Northshore medical imaging; staff will email you the requests in 2 business days. You will then have to book your own appointment. If it is being done through hospitals, staff will send the requests directly and you will hear from the hospital directly.
Q: What is the timeline for the specialists' consultations?
if your consultation is deemed urgent, it is usually done within 2-4 weeks. If it is not an urgent matter, this will take up to 6 months.
Q: What is the timeline for imaging appointments through the hospital?
if it is urgent, bookings are done within 2-4 weeks. If it is not an urgent matter, this will take up to 6 months.
Q: What are the screening tests that I should know?
Cancer screening: lung cancer screening for whoever has >20yrs of smoking history, Colon cancer screening every 2 years from age 50 to 74 via stool test or colonoscopy if there is a family history, Cervical cancer screening by Pap test from age 25 to 69 every 3 years, skin cancer screening for those who have several moles in the body, Cancer of prostate from age 50 to 70 especially in individuals with family history of prostate cancer.
Cardiovascular risks: obesity, sedentary lifestyle, strong family history of premature heart disease (male < age 55, female < age 65) or high cholesterol in first relatives
